Chart alerts that place the trade themselves

  1. The problem

    A trader's charts flagged every entry, but each alert still meant stopping, opening the broker and placing the order by hand.

  2. What we did

    We built a small service that takes each alert from the charts and places the order on the trader's own broker account straight away. Alerts without the trader's passphrase are ignored.

  3. The result

    Built for two brokers, one for futures and one for shares, both trading on the trader's own account.

For a private trader

Two strategies that trade on their own, every day

  1. The problem

    A trader had two strategies with fixed rules and wanted them followed exactly, without sitting at the screen.

  2. What we did

    We turned the rules into a system that trades through market hours on its own, with a safety exit on every trade.

For a private trader

A live read on the options market, with an alert when it tips

  1. The problem

    An options trader read the whole option chain by hand to judge whether buyers of puts or calls were in control.

  2. What we did

    We built a dashboard on the trader's own broker connection. Every five minutes it works out who holds the open interest and the option Greeks, and raises an alert when one side passes 80%.

  3. The result

    It reads the market through trading hours and sleeps when the market is closed. Every alert is kept to look back on.

For a private trader

Price gaps between three coins, caught in seconds

  1. The problem

    A crypto trader saw moments when trading round three coins ended with more than it started, but they closed faster than anyone could click.

  2. What we did

    We built a desktop app that prices every three-coin loop on the exchange after fees and trades the best one only when it clears the trader's minimum profit.

  3. The result

    Delivered with a paper trading mode, a start and stop switch, and the trade size set as a share of the portfolio.
